More and more people prefer working from home these days. You avoid being stuck in traffic jams and you can determine your own working times. It’s easier to combine your work with your family and you have a greater sense of freedom. It has a lot of advantages, but it certainly also has some downsides. You have to have enough discipline and you might feel isolated working from home. It might also get hard if you can’t get as much work as you had hoped to get.

Check the job vacancies for working from home, but keep in mind not to trust just any offer. In this market there are a lot of scams. Never pay any amount of money in advance to people offering you the opportunity to work from home.
- Make a good and realistic plan for the amount of hours that you plan on working and don’t overestimate yourself or take on too much work.

- Working from home is not something that will make you rich very quickly. Don’t be misled by stories of people who got rich in no time doing work from home.
